We are located in East Central Florida, between Orlando and Daytona Beach, two miles off I-4 (exit 101C) west on State Road 46.

Marina on the St Johns River at Sanford

Nearby to us are plenty of ways to spend the day.  Head out and enjoy a trip and return home the same day.  First off, the unhurried town of Sanford may have all you need.  Ten minutes away, its brick-paved old downtown is a fine place to get some errands done at a relaxed pace.  Nobody runs in downtown Sanford.

If you're looking for a day spent at a faster gait, bustling Orlando is right down the road.

Little Sanford has its own international airport, the Sanford-Orlando International Airport, and Amtrak's Auto-train depot is close by.  Orlando's larger International Airport serves travelers for this area as well.

Sanford's museums are each fascinating places to spend a day.  Seminole County's natural history and the history of the people who have lived here are on display in the museums in town.

And don't forget the art galleries.  Sanford has very active art and theater communities.  The Orlando Science Center is another wonderful way to spend time in wonder.
Continue down I-4 past Orlando and you reach the world-class tourism area:   Walt Disney World, Seaworld, Wet 'n Wild, Universal Orlando, and endlessly more.

Head east and you can spend the day at the beach:  Daytona, Cape Canaveral National Seashore, Cocoa Beach, and ones the locals know.

The Kennedy Space Center draws visitors from around the globe.  Go to the coast to watch a launch up close and you'll probably find yourself near folks from Australia, Europe, or wherever.   You can see most launches from your own yard.  When you see a night launch, the east lights up in a way you can never have experienced before.
We could go on for quite awhile talking about things to do here.  Did we mention Daytona Speedway?  Ocean Cruises from Port Canaveral? River Cruises on the St. Johns?  Deep sea fishing?  Surf fishing?  River fishing?  Lake fishing?  Golfing?   The Manatees at Blue Springs?  In Florida, it's easy to start with the water and you'll end up finding there's always more water to explore.

There's too much to describe in a few minutes.  We'll tell you when you arrive.  You're almost here already.
